You go into the bedroom.
It’s dark in the bedroom.
You don’t open the curtains or anything.
You take off your shirt and trousers and lie down on top of the covers.
You lie there for a long time, thinking about things..
You think about: your job, your ex-girlfriend, an article in the Metro you read on the bus this morning, and a person at work called Clare who you think is trying to get you fired.
Eventually you fall asleep.
